The Winterboro varsity football team kicked off a three-day camp at school on Thursday. During camp, players will have an opportunity to learn skills to make them more successful people in life as well as on the field on Friday nights.
Thursday the team was visited by guest speakers Terry Roller, principal of Lincoln High School, and Officer Willie Kidd, School Resource Officer from Sylacauga High School. Both speakers expressed the importance of carrying oneself with pride and discipline on and off the field in order to become successful in football as well as in life.
